Project Overview

Through a live Q&A event curated by CBG, the company provided a platform for over 100 young girls to engage with trailblazing female government ministers and industry leaders. The aim was to inspire and empower the attendees by sharing pivotal moments and practical advice for achieving success.

Background

CBG collaborated with the British Council to host a live Q&A event in Sierra Leone. The event aimed to empower young girls by connecting them with influential female government ministers and industry leaders. The goal was to inspire the attendees by sharing experiences, providing practical advice, and promoting career opportunities in various fields.

Implementation

Bringing together leading female government ministers, industry trailblazers, and young girls, including the Minister of Welfare and the Deputy Minister of Education opening and closing the event, it created an engaging and inspiring atmosphere. An inspirational panel of women recognized as trailblazers in the STEM industry offered insights into a variety of roles and career opportunities in Sierra Leone. They shared practical advice, using personal stories and examples to make it relatable for the young audience.
