Project Overview

The Nigerian Young Professionals Forum (NYPF) is a prominent organization committed to promoting human capital development and competent leadership in Africa, particularly Nigeria. The NYPF hosted a summit in London in September 2019, titled “Competent Leadership: Key to Unleashing Nigeria’s Potentials,” to address critical issues affecting young Africans, including illegal migration, cybercrime, and terrorism.

The Challenge

The NYPF sought to convene a high-profile summit that would attract international attention and support for addressing pressing issues impacting Africa’s youth. The event aimed to engage global stakeholders, including the Financial Times, to foster dialogue and action towards sustainable development and competent leadership in Africa.

Strategy & Planning

Consult Base Global was tasked with project management and curation of the NYPF Summit 2019, focusing on branding, coordination, speaker and sponsor relations, and audiovisual production.

Branding & Coordination

  • Branding: We developed a compelling branding strategy aligned with the summit’s theme and NYPF’s mission, incorporating Nigeria’s cultural elements and vibrant colors into event materials.
  • Coordination: Our team managed all logistical aspects of the summit, including venue booking, travel arrangements, and participant coordination.

“The NYPF Summit provided a critical platform for dialogue on pressing issues affecting Africa’s youth. It underscored the urgent need for competent leadership and innovative solutions to drive sustainable development across the continent.”

Moses Siloko Siasia,

Chairman, NYPF

“The Financial Times is committed to supporting initiatives like the NYPF Summit that promote inclusive governance and economic prosperity in Africa. We applaud the efforts of NYPF in addressing key challenges facing the continent’s youth.”
